Home life has mutated, and so has our furniture.
Abaco is a modular freestanding bookcase that presents an essential configuration of traditional shapes using a modern language. It was designed to meet your changing needs in relation to time and space. Colour, movement and transformability are the principles that drive this project. Our guiding light is practicality.
Abaco's structure consists of two elements: its sides and crosspieces. Accessories such as shelves, open or sliding-door containers, and clothes hangers can be added to the basic unit. The resulting modules differ in size, both in terms of height and the width of the piece’s sides.
The crosspieces however may still be shown, both for aesthetic reasons and to display tall objects. Abaco may be positioned in spaces according to its function. It can be used as an entrance pocket emptier, a freestanding bookcase for your study, a kitchen storage unit, or a space-saving solution for your bedroom.
THIS MODULAR SYSTEM OFFERS INFINITY OF CONFIGURATIONS. A UNIQUE PIECE OF PURIST DESIGN THAT DOUBLES AS A HOME-HELPER AND ADAPTABLE PIECE OF FURNITURE.
